My Expertise

Years of Personal Experience

With over 30 years of working with families and children I have always had a passion to see families flourish and thrive! Add to that my extensive experience as a spouse and parent to those with ADHD and I am well positioned to coach you to success!

Extensive Professional Training

I am certified with ADDCA (ADD Coach Academy), industry leader in training life and ADHD coaches, and have specifically trained for working with families as well as individuals.

Executive Functions

These are the skills needed to get things done and often difficult for ADHD brains. Planning, task initiation, task completion, and many others are skills that we can build together during coaching.

Social Skills

Lagging social skills create stress in all kinds of relationships – at home, school, and work. We can build the skills necessary to develop good friendships and other relationships.

Emotional Regulation

The ability to control and regulate emotions does not come easily to many with ADHD, particularly children. Identifying triggers and learning better strategies can make a huge difference.

Time Management

Having a poor perception of the passage of time is often part of the ADHD landscape. Let’s work together to find the strategies that will help you keep track of time and meet  your deadlines.

"I feel very grateful to have met Tammy and have coaching with her! Having had ADHD all my life, I've tried and failed to "fix" myself over and over again. The biggest impact that coaching has had on my life is that it has enabled me to reach my full potential by using the proper tools, systems and a concrete plan of action to continue to grow and thrive in my career and my life. I've made a lot of progress over the past year with the personal support from my coach - I realized I don't need to fix myself but leverage the strengths I already have. Thank you, Tammy, for helping me get organized and giving me the tools to function better in my everyday life."

"We have been working with Tammy for about 6 months. We have done 1 on 1 sessions and group sessions. The group sessions are our daughters favorite and have truly been a highlight for her. She interacts with others who have the same struggles and share openly some of the things they have a hard time with. I have been impressed with how Tammy handles the group and how much she is able to accomplish with them. This has been huge benefit to our family. I would highly recommend to anyone who has a child with ADHD to invest in these sessions."

– Cindy H

"Tammy is an absolutely wonderful coach. She helped my daughter create solid, tangible skills on a timeline that was personal, attainable and had supportive and understanding accountability. I think what most impressed me, was how well Tammy was able to connect to a teenager and develop a relationship even though we are across the country and sessions were virtual. Highly recommend!"

Tammy is a remarkably patient, thoughtful, and kind individual. Regardless of the type of assistance I sought, she consistently displayed readiness, patience, and a willingness to engage in discussions to help solve any issue. Her unwavering support and empathetic nature make her a pillar of strength. Additionally, her exceptional organizational skills and valuable suggestions have been instrumental in keeping me on track.

This course (ADHD Parenting Course) reframed my thinking about how my family can support my child with ADD. Tammy’s knowledge, experience and genuine interest in working with families with ADHD made me feel comfortable enough to ask questions and empowered me to make changes in our home. Thank you, Tammy!

ADHD coaching can be applied to all tasks in life; beyond school, work, and the household. As a performing artist, it can be difficult to organize all the moving parts of a show. Tammy helped me make a game plan so that I was able to produce, direct, and perform an act that I could be proud of, and it actually won a major contest! Tammy’s compassionate and direct approach is very accessible to sensitive ADHDers such as myself. Whether it’s a large project or a day-to-day task, Tammy’s coaching can be a great asset to people living with ADHD.
